Diane Sykes has served as a public defender, Legal Aid attorney, Senior Assistant Attorney General, and private-practice civil rights attorney. She has worked closely with attorneys, judges, court staff, community organizations, government agencies, and opposing counsel to resolve complex legal issues.
Her career has taken her across the legal system landscape, representing clients, protecting civil rights, and advocating for working families. He is running to improve the justice system for youth and families by reducing the number of youth in our delinquency system. He served as a public defender for clients in Criminal, Mental Health, Drug Treatment, and Juvenile Courts.

Joe Hagedorn currently serves as a full-time Judge Pro Tem in the Juvenile Court and performs many duties of the elected judicial position he is seeking.
Hagedorn has dedicated his career to public service over the past 24 years. He served as an AmeriCorps attorney representing survivors of domestic violence, and as a public defender for clients in Criminal, Mental Health, Drug Treatment, and Juvenile Courts.
He is running to improve the justice system for youth and families by reducing the number of youth in our delinquency system and providing more targeted services so children can remain in a parent's care. He has significant experience in the justice system and in understanding the challenges children and families face in navigating it. He wants to ensure that they have the support they need and access to the services and opportunities to get out of the system.
